Why we fall plays a significant twist on the story of Icarus. Where the piece diverges from the original narrative, lies in the chains holding Icarus down. No longer stifled by blind ambition, instead, the piece offers commentary on the various chains we all bare in life which limit us, whether self imposed or otherwised. "Resistance is advised" is hand stencilled into the background as an homage and reminder to resist these limitations and to pursue our goals and dreams unecumbered by our chains.
