In the global theatre of conflict, the individual is often reduced to a transaction. THE VALUE OF ONE argues that the currency of power is backed not by gold but by the mechanics of erasure. At the centre is a full 1:1 scale dimensional relief of an AK47, built by hand from international shipping-grade reinforced cellulose, suspended above a backboard stencilled as a one-dollar bill.

A vibrant green serpent runs through the weapon from barrel to stock, drawing on the biblical iconography of the Fall. The act of wielding the tool invites corruption. Agency surrendered. Amidst the sticker-bomb complexity of the rifle's surface, a single directive is engraved on the trigger: THINK.

The material was selected for its unyielding nature. In studio testing, the substrate resisted penetration from free-falling surgical scalpels. It does not give.
